Tabard Inn is a prestigious establishment renowned for its exquisite cuisine and exceptional service, is seeking a dedicated Banquet Cook to join our culinary team. We specialize in hosting a variety of events, from intimate gatherings to lavish banquets, at our historic venue and offsite locations. As a Banquet Cook at Tabard Inn, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our events by preparing and presenting high-quality dishes. You will be responsible for mastering various cooking techniques, maintaining food quality standards, and contributing to a positive and efficient kitchen environment. Key responsibilities: Proficiency in grilling, frying, roasting, knifework, baking, and sautéing. Maintaining Food quality Communication Commitment to continuous improvement Event Participation (availability to partake in all types of events hosted by Tabard Inn, including breakfasts, lunches, dinners, plated meals, receptions, passed plates, carving stations, action stations, and events at an offsite location) Qualifications: Previous experience as a banquet cook or in a similar culinary role preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by event schedules.
